Mayor Sucro vows first class service among Kalibo residents

KALIBO, Aklan- Kalibo Mayor Juris Bautista-Sucro wanted Kalibo residents to enjoy first class services from the local government slowly but surely.

In his speech during the inaugural session of the Sangguniang Bayan of Kalibo, he thanked those in attendance for their support especially to his battle cry ‘Bagong Kalibo.’

“On the first day of my office, I learned that there is a need to place a system of checks and balances on the local government. To begin my dream for the Kalibo to enjoy first class services I will start it in the SB office,” he said.

He promised to provide each member of the SB with their own convenient office spaces by next year in order for them to be able to seamlessly serve the public. “The town of Kalibo deserves first class service,” Sucro reiterated.

For her part, Kalibo Vice Mayor Cynthia Dela Cruz said that the SB is a strong advocate of Sucro’s leadership.

“In coordination with Mayor Sucro, we plan for Kalibo to have its own community college and hospital. We have so many works to, but we will do it,” Dela Cruz .said
