Oton, Iloilo- The Oton Bulb Onion Growers Association (OBOGA), led by President Eduardo Tano, along with Emma Caballero, Principal of Tagbac Elementary School and OBOGAโ€™s institutional partner in Tagbac, Oton, Iloilo, met with DA-WV Regional Executive Director Dennis Arpia to personally express their gratitude for the interventions provided by the Department of Agriculture. These support initiatives have played a crucial role in boosting their onion production and strengthening their association.
Recognizing the ongoing challenges in onion farming, OBOGA also sought additional assistance from the Regional Crop Protection Center (RCPC), specifically requesting specialized training on Integrated Pest Management.
