PAFC Aklan Chairperson Named NGO Representative To National Organic Agriculture Board

AKLAN — Provincial Agricultural and Fishery Council (PAFC)–Aklan Chairperson Arnulfo T. Magcope has been selected as the Non-Government Organization (NGO) representative of the Filipino Farmers Seed Network (FFSN) to the National Organic Agriculture Board (NOAB) for the November 2026 to November 2029 term.
PAFC-Aklan announced Magcope’s selection, describing it as a recognition of his dedication to serving Aklanon farmers and his advocacy for sustainable and organic agriculture and seed security.
The council expressed confidence that Magcope would bring the concerns, needs, and aspirations of local farming communities to the national policymaking body.
His appointment is also expected to help advance more inclusive opportunities for organic farmers in Western Visayas and other parts of the country.
