South Korean community in Boracay elects a new set of officers

BORACAY Island, Aklan- South Koreans who wanted to strengthen their ranks on this resort island have elected their new set of officers.

The new set of officers will be headed by Ms. Soojin Kim Lee, owner of Gecko Resort and Restaurant Bar (Boracay Water World), as President.

The elected First Vice President is Mr. Yoon Oh Hyun , owner of Goryu Restaurant and Goryu Crab. Another Vice President is Mr. Jinsun Lee, owner of Jujumburi Restaurant.

The said group has two officials: Mr. Heesub Kim, general manager of the Ocean Club Hotel, and Mr. Young Wooing Choi Hana tour head official

“We have also elected ten board of directors, and we have 236 members in Boracay,” Ms. Lee said.

The election of officers was held on Thursday.

“Our next step is to meet again soon to discuss our plans for the remainder of our term,” Ms. Lee told the Boracay Island News Network.
