This training aims to instill the Filipino brand of service excellence among tourism frontliners capable of providing first-class quality services, as well as to demonstrate and put the Mabuhay and Salamat gestures into practice in order to generate a positive service experience for tourists and visitors of Boracay.
The Filipino Brand of Service Excellence (FBSE) is one of the flagship training programs of the DOT, envisioned to provide all frontliners in the tourism industry with a benchmark on how to render excellent service to our tourists the Filipino way and make it our “brand.”

The Malay Municipal Tourism Office is extending its heartfelt gratitude to DOT Region VI, Mary Lou Escullar and Mary Dan Official for conducting this tourism industry skills training, creating a sustainable and excellent service among the tourism frontliners, which is also key to establishing a good customer relationship.
