Tangalan town creates first legislative website in Aklan

TANGALAN, Aklan- The local government of Tangalan has set a record for producing the first legislative website through their Sangguniang Bayan in the province.

Based on the information gathered by the Boracay Island News Network, the website address is www.sbtangalan.ph. ‘

It was gathered that the processes for starting the legislative website started way back at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. This is where Tangalan Vice Mayor Gene Fuentes shared his vision of reaching to all “Tangalanons” inside and outside of their town.

The said website is also aimed at their transparent and informed legislation through the internet as a repository of all of their resolutions and ordinances. It also wants to engage ‘Tangalanons’ all over the world by receiving feedbacks and suggestions.

To realize this vision, the Sangguniang Bayan of Tangalan tapped an Aklanon local developer—Trikee Solutions. Trikee Solutions is the technology solutions brand of Trikee Corporation, an Aklan-based company.

Earlier, Trikee Solutions developed a blood donor system for the Philippine Red Cross-Aklan Chapter.

Vice Mayor Gene Fuentes was elected to his second term as the President of the Vice Mayor’s League of the Philippines-Aklan Chapter.
