The Journey of Ms Eco Teen Philippines Beatriz Mcleland

KALIBO, Aklan- Ms. Beatriz Mcleland was crowned on Sunday night as Miss Eco Teen for the Miss World Philippines 2022.

Mcleland was born in Kalibo and is a daughter of once a beauty titlists in Kalibo Ms. Mary Jane Valbuena Mclelland.

Beatriz, also known to her friends as Bea represented Aklan in the recently concluded Miss World-Philippines.

“I say deserved!!! This is just the start of the bigger and brighter future for you, baby girl. Super proud tito here,” her cousin Adrian told her mom. Mclelland is also supported by their Adriano Samar who designed several gowns for Mclelland during the competition. Mary Jane was the first trainor of Bea during the latter’s joining in different pageant competitions from Barangay to Miss Kalibo Ati-atihan to national and soon international competitions. Prior to the coronation of Bea, the young Mclelland impressed the judges and the crowd during the Top 10 Model Fast Track Challenge for Miss World Philippines 2022 at Okada Manila. During the Model Fast track, one of the judges is Cherry Samuya Veric, an internationally renowned fashion designer from Ibajay, Aklan. Like other judges, he is also impressed with Mclelland’s performance.
