
BORACAY Island- A Singaporean businessman based in this resort island has been reappointed as liaison officer of the Chinese embassy.
Peter Tay said that this is now his third term as the liaison officer. He will serve the Chinese embassy for another two years.
“No less than Consul General Wang Yue of The Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in the Philippines signed my reappointment papers,” Tay said., During Covid-19 pandemic,
Tay helped several Boracaynon residents in giving out facemasks and other health kits. Tay was also instrumental in the past for the Chinese embassy in donating All Terrain Vehicles (ATV’s) for disaster and rescue use here.
His business includes travel and diving tours in this resort island.
