18 Members of the Media Commended; BINN included
Iloilo City- The Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) in Region 6 thru its Regional Strategic Communication and Initiatives Group (RSCIG) recognized the contribution of the local media personalities in the advancement of its environmental Information, Education and Communication (IEC) campaign during the Media Awards 2024 held at Diversion 21 Hotel, Iloilo City.
The eighteen (18) media personalities each received a Plaque of Commendation and tokens. They are the following: Runelyn โRunjiโ Jamolo and Elena โBingโ C. Pabiona (both of Radyo Pilipinas Iloilo); Ralph D. Mosqueda (K5 News FM Iloilo); Fraye Cedrick S. Anona (Aksyon Radyo); Lalaine Moreno (UNTV News and Rescue); Emmanuel R. Alcalde (Barkadahan sa Iloilo); Joel P. Franco and Ramonito โMonโ E. Capalihan (both of RMN Iloilo); Marie Sol A. Biรฑas (Bombo Radyo Iloilo); Christine L. Lunasco (iChannel Multi Media Production); Inna Carol L. Zambrona (Yes! FM Boracay); Jun N. Aguirre (Boracay Island News Network); Tara Katherine J. Yap (Manila Bulletin); Jennifer P. Rendon (The Daily Guardian); Ime Sornito (Panay News); Perla G. Lena (Philippine News Agency); Lilibeth A. French (Philippine Information Agency); and Reymar L. Latoza (Iloilo Metropolitan Times).
DENR 6 Regional Executive Director Livino B. Duran led the distribution of the Plaque of Commendation. Along with him are the three Assistant Regional Directors (ARD), namely: ARD Raul L. Lorilla of the Technical Services, ARD Andres T. Untal of the Management Services, ARD Ivene D. Reyes of Special Concerns, Administrative Division Chief Ernest C. Federiso, and RSCIG Chief Artemio Salvador C. Colacion.
