WV wage hike to take effect June 5

The wage orders for the increase in wages of workers in the private sector and salaries of Kasambahays in Western Visayas have been published by the RTWPB in newspaper of general circulation today, May 20, and will take effect on June 5, 2022.
Sections 5 and 9 of Wage Order No. RBVI-26 and Wage Order RB6-DW-4, respectively, state that its effectivity is 15 days from the date of its publication.
The new minimum wage rate for non-agricultural, industrial, commercial establishments with 10 or more employees will be Php450 and those with less than 10 employees, Php 420.
Agricultural workers, on the other hand, will receive a Php 410 daily minimum wage.
The new monthly salary for the Kasambahays will be Php4,500.
