
MALAY, Aklan – The Social Pension Program (SocPen) of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office VI conducted a four-day training in Malay, Aklan.
The training includes scenarios and role-playing exercises to equip staff with the skills needed to effectively handle complaints and inquiries from senior citizens.
The primary objective of the Social Pension training is to reinforce the ethical and efficient management of public funds, ensuring that the program continues to serve the most vulnerable elderly population.
The activity was graced by OIC-Assistant Regional Director for Operations Katherine Joy Lamprea, Social Pension Program Unit Head Marien Grace Tamonan, and Social Pension Focal Yvanne Gemino, with the full support of the Learning Management Team (LMT) of the Social Pension Program.
