BKS Green Strengthens Community Health Response in San Pablo, Isabela

San Pablo, Isabela- Yuchengco-led BKS Green Energy Corporation (BKSGEC) formally turned over an ambulance to the Municipality of San Pablo, Isabela, as part of its corporate social responsibility banner, We Power H.E.L.P. (Health, Education, and Lifelong Development Program) reinforcing the companyโs commitment to community welfare and sustainable development.
The ambulance turnover, held at Barangay Limbauan during the ceremonial switch-on of BKSGECโs 40 MW DC Limbauan Solar Power Project (LSPP) on March 16, 2026, was led by Vice President for Business Development and Commercial Operations Maria Victoria M. Olivar, with Municipal Mayor Antonio Jose T. Miro III accepting the donation on behalf of the local government.
The donated ambulance and related medical equipment and supplies can strengthen emergency response and improve access to essential healthcare services, particularly for residents in farflung barangays of San Pablo. โThis ambulance donation reflects our belief that
responsible energy development must go hand in hand with meaningful community support,โ said Ms. Olivar. โThrough We Power H.E.L.P., we aim to address priority needs of our host communities, especially in health, where timely access to services can save lives.โ
Mayor Miro expressed the local governmentโs appreciation for the donation, noting that it will strengthen the LGUโs capacity to serve remote communities and improve access to essential healthcare services in San Pablo. โThis project demonstrates how private sector initiatives can effectively complement local government efforts to enhance the quality of life of our constituents,โ he said.
We Power H.E.L.P. is BKSGECโs community development program designed to create lasting, positive impact in the areas where the company operates. Beyond healthcare, BKSGEC also places strong emphasis on education and youth development in its host communities. The company supports initiatives aimed at improving access to learning opportunities, including assistance to local schools, provision of educational materials, and scholarship programs that help build skills and capacity among students and educators.
