
Boracay- In support of the LGU’s continuing efforts to maintain peace, order, and a safe tourism environment, a Coordination Meeting was conducted with concerned stakeholders regarding night-life activities in Boracay Island.
The discussion emphasized the strengthening of inter-agency coordination and strict enforcement of Municipal Ordinance No. 160, Series of 2002. Key points included the monitoring of night-life establishments, regulation of operations, and intensified efforts against vice-related concerns and other forms of illegal activities within the island.
The creation of the Boracay Anti-Vice Task Force was also highlighted to further strengthen the monitoring and regulation of night-life activities in the island. The Task Force aims to enhance coordination among concerned agencies in addressing unlawful activities and ensuring compliance with existing ordinances and regulations.
Participating agencies reaffirmed their commitment to sustain a safe, secure, and well-managed tourism destination through continuous monitoring, proper coordination, and responsible governance.
This initiative underscores the LGU’s dedication to protecting both residents and tourists while promoting orderly and sustainable tourism development.
