
Albay- Security Screening Officers (SSOs) of the Office for Transportation Security (OTS) successfully returned a left-behind bag containing an electronic tablet and hair and make-up tools to a passenger bound for Manila via Cebu Pacific Flight number 5J 320 on May 14, 2026, at Bicol International Airport.
Based on the report, while conducting his duty at the security screening checkpoint, Baggage Inspector SSO Jayson Malonda noticed the unattended bag at the roller conveyor of the X-ray machine. He promptly notified his Checkpoint Supervisor Charity Sabillena for temporary safekeeping of the item until the eventual return of its owner. Shortly thereafter, a passenger approached the security screening checkpoint for a possible recovery of his bag. Following proper documentation and verification procedures, the item was successfully returned to its rightful owner.
The passenger expressed his appreciation and gratitude to SSO Malonda and the entire OTS team for their prompt assistance and professionalism.
