Barangays urged to embrace innovation and digital transformation

Magsaysay, Misamis Oriental- Kach Medina Umandap, the youngest Filipina to have visited 195 countries and seven continents using a Philippine passport, encourages barangays to embrace innovation and digital transformation.

She shared her insights during her mini talk show, “Digital Nomad Tourism 101: Building Careers Beyond Borders,” in Magsaysay, Misamis Oriental.

In her talk, Kach introduced the concept of Digital Nomad Tourism, with Magsaysay serving as one of the pilot areas.

Digital Nomad is a person/individuals who work remotely online while traveling, rather than being tied to a fixed business location.

Kach’s journey and advocacy highlight the growing potential of Digital Nomad Tourism in the Philippines. By embracing this innovative work lifestyle, communities like Magsaysay can open doors to new opportunities, fostering economic growth and digital transformation.
