Aklan PPO tightens security ahead of the 2025 election

KALIBO AKLAN- The Aklan Police Provincial Office (AKPPO) under the leadership of Acting Police Provincial Director Police Colonel Arnel E. Ramos is conducting strict COMELEC checkpoints throughout Aklan province, as well as oplan katok and oplan bakal sita to implement the Comelec gun ban.

According to Pcol. Ramos, in a press conference here said they have already put in place their plans and preparations to ensure a peaceful and safe for the upcoming 2025 mid-term election on May 12, this year.

The official added that they are in constant and regular discussions with the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) to know and be alert to possible problems that may arise so that they can be given immediate attention and solutions.
