Malay PNP Nabs Wanted Person of RA 10591
Malay, Aklan- The Malay PNP under the leadership of PLTCOL MAR JOSEPH B RAVELO, COP apprehended Wanted Person in violation of section 32 of RA 10591 or otherwise known as “Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act” during a manhunt operation in Barangay Caticlan, Malay, Aklan morning of February 13, 2025.
Malay PNP Operatives, led by PCPT ROMNICK TAYAWA, personnel of PCP 4 led by PCPT JOEY V CASTILLON, Precinct Commander, armed with warrant of arrest for the crime in violation of Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act under Criminal Case No. 17694 issued and signed by HON. MARIA MARGARITA E. ESTRADA-MATUTINAO, Presiding Judge, RTC, 6th Judicial Region, Branch 5, Kalibo Aklan dated January 27, 2025 with no bail recommended.
“I commend our operatives and personnel of PCP 4 for their relentless efforts during the extensive manhunt operation bringing the arrested wanted person to the folds of justice. This only shows that collaboration among the Law Enforcement Agencies and the community is indeed the key to the success of this operation. PLTCOL RAVELO said.
The accused was brought to Malay Police Station for documentation and proper disposition.
