Los Angeles— For Aklanon beauty titleholder Beatriz Abalajon-Mclelland, the crown has never been the destination. It has been a platform—a passport to bigger opportunities, international stages and, ultimately, a chance to inspire others.
Now, the Kalibo-born beauty queen is entering another chapter of her journey after officially signing a contract with Legacy Entertainment Production, marking a new partnership built around talent, elegance, purpose and opportunities for growth.
The contract signing formally welcomes Abalajon-Mclelland into the Legacy Entertainment family, with the production company expressing excitement over the projects, opportunities and milestones they will build together.

“We are proud to celebrate the official contract signing of our distinguished beauty title holder Beatriz Abalajon (Mclelland) with Legacy Entertainment Production—a partnership built on purpose, talent, elegance, and exciting possibilities ahead. More than wearing a crown, this journey is about using a platform to inspire, empower, and create meaningful impact. We are excited to welcome her into the Legacy Entertainment family and look forward to the projects, opportunities, said Maria Damian, also from Kalibo and the Chief Eecutive Officer of the Legacy based in California.

For Abalajon-Mclelland, however, the new partnership represents more than another professional achievement. It is a continuation of a journey that began years ago in pageantry and took her from the stages of Aklan to national competitions and international arenas.
A journey that began in Kalibo
Abalajon-Mclelland’s pageant journey started at a young age and gradually developed into an impressive record of national and international representation.
In 2018, she was crowned Miss Metro Manila and Mutya ng Luzviminda, titles that helped establish her presence in the Philippine pageant scene.
A year later, she returned to her home province and competed in the Mutya ng Kalibo Sto. Niño pageant during the Ati-Atihan Festival, where she finished as second runner-up.
Her local experience soon opened the door to the international stage.
At just 17 years old, she represented the Philippines at the Miss Teen International competition in New Delhi, India, after earning the right to compete through her Miss Teen Earth Asia 2019 title. She finished fourth overall, giving her an early taste of international competition and the responsibility of carrying the Philippine name abroad.
From Miss World Philippines to the world stage
Abalajon-Mclelland continued to pursue her pageant ambitions and in 2022 joined Miss World Philippines, where she won the Miss Eco Teen Philippines title.
The victory earned her another opportunity to represent the country internationally—this time at Miss Eco Teen International 2022 in Egypt.
She finished first runner-up, further establishing herself as one of the country’s experienced young international pageant contenders.
But rather than treating the achievement as the end of her journey, Abalajon-Mclelland continued to challenge herself.
Aklan’s representative at Binibining Pilipinas
In 2025, she returned to the national pageant spotlight as Aklan’s representative at Binibining Pilipinas.
She advanced to the Top 14 and was also recognized as Face of Binibini/Miss Photogenic, highlighting the strong impression she made during the competition.
The experience added another major national pageant to her growing résumé and reinforced her reputation as a seasoned competitor.
But once again, Abalajon-Mclelland was not finished.
The crown of Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas
Her persistence eventually brought another major breakthrough.
On August 24, 2025, Abalajon-Mclelland represented Aklan at Miss Grand Philippines 2025, where she captured the title of Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas.
The victory gave her another opportunity to represent the Philippines on an international stage.
She later competed at Reina Hispanoamericana 2026 in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, where she reached the Top 13.
Although she did not advance to the Top 8, her participation once again allowed her to represent the Philippines and showcase Filipino culture before an international audience.
Among the highlights of her Bolivian journey was her national costume, designed by Renel Suarez, which paid tribute to Philippine beauty queen pioneer Pura Villanueva-Kalaw.
Beyond the crown
Abalajon-Mclelland’s story is not simply about titles, placements and crowns.
Her journey illustrates the persistence required to remain relevant in the highly competitive world of pageantry.
She has experienced victories and near-victories, national recognition and international competition. Each experience has added another layer to her development as a beauty queen, model and public personality.
Now, her latest partnership with Legacy Entertainment Production signals a shift toward a broader platform.
The company welcomed her into its family with the vision of developing projects and opportunities that go beyond the traditional pageant stage.
The partnership is anchored on the belief that a beauty titleholder can use her visibility and influence to inspire, empower and create meaningful impact.
Building a legacy
For Abalajon-Mclelland, the latest chapter is therefore not simply about another contract.
It is about what comes after the crown.
Her journey—from Kalibo to Manila, and from the Philippines to international stages in India, Egypt and Bolivia—has already given her a story worth telling.
The next challenge is to transform that experience into something that will endure beyond individual pageant titles.
As she officially joins Legacy Entertainment Production, that vision is captured in a simple but powerful message:
“The crown represents the title. The journey creates the LEGACY.”
For the Aklanon beauty queen, the crown may have opened the door.
But the journey she continues to build may ultimately be what defines her.
And with Legacy Entertainment now part of that journey, Beatriz Abalajon-Mclelland’s next chapter is just beginning.
