Boracay, Capiz show support for Leni-Kiko campaign

Supporters of Vice President Leni Robredo and Sen. Kiko Pangilinan across the country came up with different creative, colorful, and loud means to show their backing for candidacy in the May 2022 elections.

Aside from the events in Robredo’s home region of Bicol, volunteers from the rest of the country kicked off their respective activities ahead of the campaign kickoff in Naga City.

In Aklan, members of Boracay Para Kay Leni and Aklanons for Leni held various Holy Masses at Kalibo Cathedral, Altavas, Ibajay, Buruanga, and Madalag. They also held a caravan in Pastrana Park, Ibajay and Malinao and conducted a zumba session in Boracay Island as part of their support for Robredo.

In Capiz, supporters conducted a market tour Jamindan Public Market where they distributed pink aprons to vendor.

They also held a free T-shirt printing at the Robredo People Council (RPC) Capiz Volunteer Center. The show of pink force dominated social media as the hashtag “KulayRosasAngBukas” trended on Twitter for 24 hours.

Aside from Boracay and Capiz, various parts of the country turned pink as volunteers and supporters of the Robredo-Pangilinan tandem also held their respective activities as part of the campaign kickoff.
