Volunteers led initiatives will highlight the campaign of tandem Presidential candidate Leni Roberedo and Vice Presidential Kiko Pangilinan on Tuesday.
The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) has slated February 8, 2022, as the kick-off day for a 60-day campaign for the national candidates. The national and local presidential elections was slated on May 9, 2022.
Pink volunteers in the province announced that all the 17 towns in the province have come up their respective kick-off campaign in support for the Leni-Kiko tandem and their 12 senatorial candidates.
Volunteers coming from Kalibo, Numancia, Makato, Batan, Tangalan and New Washington will converge in Kalibo town for a mass and candle lighting at Kalibo Cathedral and after which, a caravan.
There will also be a separate mass and recorida in the towns of Altavas, Ibajay, Buruanga, Malay, Malinao, Madalag, Lezo, Makato and Nabas.
In Boracay, volunteers organized free transportation for commuters, beach activities such as zumba, football, clean – up, tarps postings, distribution of flyers and recorida.
Volunteers coming from the towns of Makato, Banga, Libacao, Nabas and Tangalan will also have their respective market visits.
