Iloilo City- The warmth of freshly baked bread and community spirit filled the air last week as Bread & Butter Bakeshop joined the Iloilo Bakery Association and fellow bakers in marking Bakery Day 2025, an annual event honoring the people behind the industry and its contribution to community development and economic empowerment.
Representing Bread & Butter at the event were Guidon C. Dela Cruz II, Treasury Manager, and Ms. Ivy Lim, VP for Operations of Filbake Food Corporation. The celebration featured school outreach programs, bread-sharing activities, and interactive sessions with children, raising awareness about the value of bread and the hardworking bakers who make it part of daily life.
Now celebrating its 40th anniversary, Bread & Butter continues to open more stores across Western Visayas and nearby regions, staying true to its mission of providing quality, affordable, and nutritious baked products for every Filipino family.

“Bakery Day reminds us that bread is not just food—it’s a symbol of hope, livelihood, and community,” said a company representative.
Bread & Butter remains a proud member of the local bakery community, sharing its passion for baking and service to the people of the region.
