Discover Mindanao’s Endless Wonders @ The 4th Mindanao Tourism Expo

The Department of Tourism (DOT), through its Regional Office XII, officially opens the 4th Mindanao Tourism Expo (MTEX) 2026 on Friday (October 2) at the Sultan Kudarat Provincial Gymnasium Grounds, bringing together exhibitors from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
Serving as the centerpiece of the event, the Travel and Trade Exhibit features curated booths showcasing distinct tourism offerings and experiences across the region. This is designed to strengthen Mindanaoโs brand as a safe, dynamic, and world-class tourism destination.
Another highlight of the expo is Weaves of SOCCSKSARGEN, featuring local designers, models, and garments made from indigenous textiles such as Tโnalak and Inaul, showcasing the creativity of Mindanao through traditional fabrics and modern designs.
Meanwhile, participating DOT Regional Offices, Local Government Units (LGUs), micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), and tourism stakeholders will engage in Business-to-Business (B2B) meetings and product presentations arranged to connect exhibitors with Mindanao-based travel agencies, hotels, and potential institutional buyers.
Visitors can enjoy cultural shows and entertainment programs, as well as have the exclusive opportunity to score travel deals, book tour packages and tourism services, and purchase local goods directly from exhibitors.
Open to the public until Sunday (October 4), MTEX 2026 is expected to boost tourism, promote local destinations and products, and create opportunities for businesses in the province and across SOCCSKSARGEN.
