KIDAPAWAN CITY โ€” The Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) held a stakeholdersโ€™ dialogue, Wednesday, to mark the 25th anniversary of its Kidapawan Branch, continuing the practice of direct engagement with members in North Cotabato.

The dialogue at Sudapin Coffee gathered local stakeholders, education sector partners and media representatives to discuss GSIS programs, benefits and service delivery improvements for government employees and pensioners.

GSIS President and General Manager Wick Veloso said listening to members remains central to improving programs and services.

“Ang pakikinig sa ating mga miyembro ang susi para mas mapabuti pa ang aming mga programa at serbisyo. Ang ganitong mga dayalogo ay mahalaga upang matiyak na ang GSIS ay tunay na katuwang ng bawat lingkod-bayan,” Veloso said.

After the dialogue, the Department of Education’s Schools Division of Cotabato and Kidapawan City conferred plaques of recognition to Veloso for his leadership in advancing digital innovation through the GSIS Touch mobile app, his commitment to the Adopt-A-School Program, and his partnership in advancing DepEd programs and initiatives.

Veloso also met with members of local media to update them on the latest GSIS programs and services.

The GSIS turned over yesterday, P400,000 worth of technology packages to Manobisa Integrated School, the third school adopted by the Kidapawan branch under the Adopt-a-School CSR program.

Manager Josephine B. Marcial said the branch has maintained its commitment to accessible service delivery since opening in 2001.

The Kidapawan Branch serves 29,000 members and pensioners and 98 agencies across the region, providing insurance, loans and other benefits. The anniversary dialogue is part of GSIS’ regular consultations with stakeholders nationwide to identify service gaps and address member concerns.
