Haresco revives Tawag ng Tangalan Now On its Season 2

TANGALAN, Aklan—Second District Congressman Teodorico Haresco Jr has announced that he is reviving the Tawag sa Tangalan for Season 2.

Season 1 happened in 2020 but was suspended due to the rise of the COVID 19 pandemic.

“In my sorties all over Aklan, I learned that there are many Aklanons who exemplify talent. I am reviving the competition for our Aklanons to be able to showcase their talents,” he said.

He has urged all the local government units of Aklan to participate in the said competition.

In Malinao, the LGU has already started the announcement in preparation for the province-wide talent competition.

Submission of Application Form: February 13-15, 2023, at Malinao Tourism Office.
Audition and Screening: February 16, 2023, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. at the Malinao Multi-Purpose Activity Center.
Application forms are now available at the Malinao Tourism Office.

Guidelines:
1. Must be a bona fide resident or registered voter of the participating town.
2. A maximum of 12 contestants per group.
3. Contestants who are either residents or voters of different towns- can only join once. town of their choice.
4. The Champion, 2nd runner up and 3rd runner up in the grand finals of season 1 will not be qualified to join the competition.
5. Music materials should be in MP3 format. All music materials should be submitted to the person in charge, two days before the competition.
6. Maximum time for contenders.
a. Individual song number: 4 minutes
b. Individual dance number: 4 minutes
c. Individual of other performance: 6 minutes
d. Group performance- 8 minutes
