San Pablo City- Anchored on the importance of healthy living and wellness, CARD MRI Hijos Tours launched its two-day Homestay San Pablo City Wellness Tour on April 24-25, 2026. Designed to promote holistic well-being, the activities centered on microfinance, nature, community, and faith.
The tour offers participants a space to reflect on what truly contributes to a healthier and more fulfilling life. For its first run, the tour welcomed 10 members of CARD Bank Candelaria in Quezon Province.
Through this immersive experience, participants are encouraged to renew their appreciation of how financial stability, environmental awareness, social connections, and spiritual growth work together to pursue healthy well-being.
For CARD MRI Hijos Tours President Marilyn M. Manila, the wellness tour represents an opportunity to create spaces for reflection, meaningful interaction, and learning. “Through this tour, we combine education and personal experiences,” she said. “We want this to serve as a platform for promoting balance, personal growth, and well-being.”
Going beyond visiting destinations and exploring history, participants are immersed in activities designed to spark self-discovery and relationship-building. The tour also aims to transform the journey into an experience of personal enrichment by emphasizing the physical, mental, spiritual, and financial dimensions of wellness.
The tour’s itineraries include tree-hugging and tree-bathing activities, a homestay experience in a local residence, a visit to the CARD MRI Head Office, and a lunch at a native restaurant.
Beyond these, participants are taken to some of San Pablo City’s natural and historical destinations, such as Sampaloc Lake, Sitio Lalao Hot Spring, and Kinabuhayan Stream. They also explored other spiritual landmarks, including San Pablo Cathedral, San Agustin Church, Yapak ni Kristo, as well as in Presintahan Cave and Kamalig ni Saint Jacob in Mt. Banahaw in Dolores, Quezon.
The Wellness Tour welcomes CARD clients and staff aged 18 to 50 years old who are physically capable of activities such as walking and short trekking. Through the newly launched tour, Hijos Tours redefines travel beyond recreation as it leads experiences that gently encourage a more holistic sense of well-being.
