Influential Garcia family of Ibajay endorses Ted and Jose Haresco
IBAJAY, Aklan- The influential Garcia family of Ibajay, Aklan has endorsed the candidacy of the father and son tandem headed by re-electionist and last termer Congressman Teodorico Haresco in the Western district of Aklan.
The Garcian said they met with Ted and his son Jose Haresco recently in the latter’s home at Barangay Dumatad, Tangalan Aklan to get to know the Haresco family.
In the previous election, the Garcia family are at odds with Harescp because of his close ties with former Governor Florencio Miraflores. In what was considered a twist of faith, Haresco now is being opposed by what he was once considered soulmate Miraflores.
The Garcia family said they earned the respect of the father and son tandem because of their sacrifices to serve the residents of the Western district of Aklan.
Unknown to many, the young Haresco formerly worked as the Assistant Vice President of a large bank in Makati. He too worked in several multinational companies. He also completed his Bachelors degree in Canada and obtained his master’s degree in London
The corporate life of Jose may have been better but seeing his dad Ted fighting the battle alone in their family, he decided to resign and threw his hats in politics.
The Western district of Aklan is composed of the towns of Buruanga, Malay, Nabas, Ibajay, Tangalan, Makato, Numancia, Lezo and Malinao.
