International Day of the Jazz Grooves in Iloilo
Iloilo City- The Gabria Music Productions presents the International Jazz Day at the J7 Plaza Hotel in Iloilo City featuring musicians especially coming from Panay Island.
Paul Chatman, of the Gabria and himself a jazz advocate said that among those performing were;
*Mharlikang Bahandi – Known for their native drum corp that’s guaranteed to fill the air with rhythms.
*Salvador Jumayao- violinist from Iloilo who will keep you enchanted in sound.
*Juvany (Ban) Omapas- one of Iloilo’s finest and entertaining saxophonist.
*Brendan Isreal- Bassist with boldness but smooth in style.
*Fifth Mode- Roxas City most noteworthy young jazz musicians.
Also the GABRIA-Iloilo’s flagship jazz band performs the crowd’s favorite jazz songs and originals.
“The crisp trill of trumpets, smooth basslines, and soulful melodies will fill the Ilongo’s as we bring together the artists and music lovers for a night of rhythm, culture and connection,” Chatman told the Boracay Island News Network.
