Is Booksale Returning on Kalibo?

KALIBO, Aklan- Aklanon’s favorite bookstore, Booksale is reportedly returning to Kalibo after several months of absence.

Many Akeanons expressed sadness after the company announced it was closing the Gaisano-Kalibo Store in the middle of November 2022. Many of the local residents reported having fond memories of the said bookstore.

The Booksale offers quality books, especially for children and young people, at a cheap price.

Sources at the Booksale in Iloilo revealed that the management is currently negotiating with the Gaisano Grand Kalibo management for the revival of their branch. The Gaisano Grand Kalibo is reportedly eyeing to be opened to the public this year.

“We in Booksale are also excited to see Kalibo once again. We hope the project materializes. the source who requested anonymity for not authorized in disclosing the information said.

The Booksale Philippines reported that it is the country’s biggest source of low-priced, unused, as well as previously-owned books and bargain publications from the US, Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom.
