Kalibo LGU Invites Media for Ati-atihan Update

KALIBO, Aklan—The media affairs, an information arm of the Kalibo LGU, invites members of the media to attend the press conference on January 9, 2024.

The press conference venue will be at the Second Floor Civic Center Ati-atihan Gallery at 2:00 pm.

Headed by Kalibo Mayor Juris Bautista-Sucro,  the Kalibo LGU will present plans and activities for the annual Kalibo Sto. Nino Ati-atihan Festival. The festival will officially culminate on January 13-19, 2025.

Among those to be discussed was an executive order to be released for the festival, including the number of participating tribes, security protocols, and competition prizes among others.

The Kalibo Sto. Nino Ati-atihan Festival, a street dancing revelry has inspired the creation of similar festivals in the country.
