KBP- AKLAN TO HOLD POLITICAL DEBATE FOR LOCAL CANDIDATES

The Kapisanan ng mga Brodkaster ng Pilipinas(KBP) – AKLAN CHAPTER will hold a political debate for the local candidates of the May 9 elections.
In a report by Marivic Y. Ilin for Brigada News Fm Kalibo, According to Mr. Apol Zaraspe, KBP-Aklan chairman, said it is a big opportunity for Aklanons to hear the different views and platforms of each candidate who could be the future leaders of our province.
It is expected that the debate will be attended by the candidates vying to be congressman, governor and Provincial Board member.
Each candidate will be given 3 minutes to present and introduce themselves. The candidates for Congressman of the 1st district will be the first to face the panelists for 1 hour.
Next, will be the candidates for Congressman of the 2nd district, Governor, and Vice Governor. Mr. Zaraspe also provided information that a congressional candidate will apparently not be attending the debate.
Despite this Zaraspe is still continuously trying to persuade these candidates to attend because this is the right time to truly introduce themselves to the public along with their platform of governance.
Zaraspe also added that the Political Debate can be seen on Aklan Cable TV, Kalibo Cable TV, and Paradise Cable TV. It will also be aired on all radio stations in Aklan April 29,Friday at 3:00 in the afternoon.
