Less requirements for tourists entry to Boracay eyed

The requirements for entry to the world-renowned island of Boracay are to be lessened in order to encourage more tourists and to ease the process of their passage.

“The QR codes can be removed but the regulations laid down by the Department of Tourism(DOT) must still be followed” stated newly  Port Administrator Esel Flores in an interview.

The staff, along with all the security guards in Caticlan and Cagban Port have already been notified of the new protocols.

Meanwhile, As numerous tourists continue to arrive in Boracay, strict implementation of protocols, along with the minimum health standards are still being observed to ensure the safety of everyone.
