Loren vows for continued inclusive growth in Antique, whole of Panay Island

PANDAN, Antique-Senatorial candidate Loren Legarda vows for continued inclusive growth in the whole Panay Island, especially in the province of Antique.

This was part of her message during her kick-off campaign rally held at her hometown Pandan on Tuesday noon. Legarda traced her roots at Barangay Mag-aba, Pandan, Antique.

Prior to her senatorial candidacy, Legarda served as a one term congresswoman of the Antique province. During this time, she was appointed as a Deputy House Speaker.

“I will never leave you. My heart is for Antique and for all the Filipinos,” she told her throng of supporters. The Panay Island is composed of adjoining provinces of Aklan, Iloilo, Capiz and Antique.

During her stint as a representative of Antique in the lower house, Legarda championed the operation of the Antique airport, providing livelihood for both the farmers and fisher folks of Antique among others.

Legarda is one of the senatorial candidates of the UniTeam of presidential aspirant Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. and vice presidential bet Davao Mayor Sara Duterte.
