Cong Ted Haresco and Gov Miraflores lauds accomplishments of Mark Villar in Aklan province, pledges support for upcoming elections

Aklan Governor Florencio Miraflores and 2nd District Representative Teodorico Haresco lauded the accomplishments of former Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Mark A. Villar in the Province of Aklan.

“Under the leadership of Secretary Villar, he prioritized the completion of various infrastructure projects for the benefit of fellow aklanons. Sec. Mark’s contribution to the improvement of Boracay Circumferential Road has resulted in widened roads and pedestrian friendly sidewalks.” Cong. Haresco said.

Aklan Gov. Miraflores recalled that serving as Governor since 1995, he never thought that such improvement in Boracay would be possible.

Former public works chief Villar assured that he will continue pushing for projects that will help improve better mobility and shorten travel time of locals and tourists as envisioned by the Build Build Build Program. He also vows to implement current and new projects for Aklan Province.

Top officials of the province of Aklan expressed their support to Secretary Mark Villar senate candidacy. The governor and congressman expressed their personal support and appreciation for Secretary Villar for the completion of numerous road rehabilitation and improvement in the province.

“I personally experienced the great contribution and performance of Secretary Villar as a man of action of DPWH. He ensured that projects are being monitored and are completed. He will surely be supported by my fellow aklanons on his senatorial bid.” Gov. Millaflores stated.

Ang inyong suporta at endorso ay magsisilbing gabay natin upang mas lalo nating pagbutihan sa pagtugon ng pangangailangan ng mga probinsya. Akin pong ipagpapatuloy ang magandang nasimulan ng Build Build Build Program upang makapagbigay ng kabuhayan para sa mga manggagawang Pilipino,” Senatorial aspirant Villar ended.

Villar is vying for senate seat in the upcoming May 2022 National and Local Elections.
