Malaynon Teachers, Students are International Research Awardee

The International Society Of Researchers, Teachers, and Scholars (iSORTS) held its 2nd International Research Congress via ZOOM last June 16, 17, and 18, 2022, with the theme: ROAD TO INTERNATIONALIZATION IN RESEARCH: Strengthening Educators’ Understanding for Innovation Sharing and Beyond”.

This International Research Congress was under the DepEd Advisory No. 104, S. 2022 dated April 21, 2022, and the said International Research Congress was participated by various teachers and students researchers showcasing their respective research studies in Qualitative Research, Quantitative Research, Mixed Methods, Scientific Research, and Action Research Cluster. Out of twenty-nine (29) research presenters who submitted and presented their corresponding studies, only fourteen (14) in total research presenters got the Best Research Paper and Best Research Presenter in numerous research clusters.

In the successful research congress of iSORTS, Malaynon Students and Teachers bagged the following awards. Mr. Sherwin P. Batilantes, Master Teacher I of Malay National High School, got the Top Research Paper and Top Research Presenter in the Qualitative Research Cluster. In addition, Mr. Cedrick Jess O. Nebril, a Grade 12 student, was awarded Top Research Paper-Student Category, and Mr. Louise Joseph M. Candari, Grade 11 student, was also awarded Top Research Presenter-Student Category, both of them were in the Qualitative Research Cluster and from Malay National High School. While Mr. Mark Arvin L. Rebaldo, Senior High School Teacher I of Manocmanoc National High School, achieved the Top Research Presenter in Action Research Category.

Moreover, the illustrious panel of evaluators from different educational institutions rendered constructive and in-depth criticisms and suggestions on every aspect of the research paper with a question and answer portion. These parts of the research presentation made the researchers brilliantly defend their respective research studies.

The three (3) day International Research Congress gave great experiences and opportunities to the young researchers and teachers who have the passion and courage to create research innovation that is timely and relevant in the different disciplines and the context of the pandemic. Furthermore, the initiative of iSORTS to make this International Research Congress possible offered and brought an excellent avenue and platform to share and impart the knowledge of every researcher in their field of interest. Let us be guided and inspired by the quote of Kurt Lewin that states, “No research without action, and no action without research.” Hence, the iSORTS and Research Presenters triumphantly participated in this 2nd International Research Congress, magnificently looking forward to the tremendous impact of this event to propagate the essence of research in the school, community, locally, and internationally.
