Maria Mercedes Resort turns into gold this Christmas

NEW WASHINGTON, Aklan—The Maria Mercedes Resort and Convention Center at Barangay Malogo, New Washington Aklan, promises surprises as it celebrates its sparkling Golden Holiday Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony on December 15, 2024, Sunday at 7:00 p.m.

The management headed by its owner Dr Ruffy Yu, who hails from Barangay Tambak, New Washington Aklan said that the ceremony also showcases dazzling never-seen fireworks and breathtaking light shows. This unforgettable experience will transform the Maria Mercedes Resort and Convention Center into a golden winter wonderland.

The said celebration is considered to become the grandest Christmas celebration in the province of Aklan this year. Only at Maria Mercedes Resort and Convention Center.

The golden holiday themed winter wonderland blends the theme of the Christmas celebration of the local government led by Mayor Jessica Panambo.

Panambo earlier said that the opening of light ceremony is staged on December 12, 2024.

The New Washington LGU has a theme of Silver and Gold Christmas celebration.

Panambo said that aside from the lighting ceremony, other highlight includes a cosplay competition, chorale contest, food festival and a firework display.
