PTFOMS Investigating Reported Attack On RBN News Reporter In Daraga

Daraga, Albay- The Presidential Task Force on Media Security (PTFOMS) is investigating the reported attack on Adrian “Golden Boy” Loterte, a reporter for RBN News Television, in Barangay San Roque, Daraga, Albay, on October 12, 2026.

Initial reports place the incident at about 4:24 p.m. Loterte was taken to Daraga Doctors’ Hospital for treatment. Authorities have not identified the suspect and have launched a hot pursuit operation.

PTFOMS is urging law enforcement agencies to conduct a swift, thorough, and impartial investigation to establish the circumstances and motive behind the attack and hold those responsible accountable.

The Task Force also urges anyone with credible information to report it to the authorities. Violence against members of the media is unacceptable. #
