For Young Entrepreneurs in the Countryside

Many of us know Senator Bam Aquino as the champion of Go Negosyo Centers—business hubs built in towns and cities across the Philippines to help small entrepreneurs start and grow their businesses.

One of the first places to try this was Kalibo, Aklan. The center there gave local people free training, mentorship, and help in starting their businesses. Some became successful, others faced challenges—but it showed us that with support from local government and business leaders, Filipino entrepreneurs can create jobs and improve lives.

Now, the world is changing. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is here. Computers can now write, think, help businesses run better, and even do jobs that used to require people. This is part of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, or Industry 4.0.

So, what does this mean for small businesses? Can Go Negosyo still help us in this high-tech future?

Yes—but it must evolve.

Senator Bam Aquino understands this. After his term in the Senate, he focused on improving basic education—because to succeed in the age of AI, we need young people who are skilled in technology, communication, and digital tools.

Now that Senator Bam Aquino is running for the Senate again, we have the chance to bring back a leader who knows how to connect education, technology, and negosyo for the benefit of the youth—especially in the provinces.

Here’s how we can continue and improve his work:
1. Modernize Go Negosyo Centers – They should offer online learning, digital business tools, and training in e-commerce and social media. From sari-sari store owners to local bakers, everyone can benefit from digital skills.
2. Teach the skills of the future – Jobs will change. Let’s teach the youth basic coding, content creation, digital design, and how to use AI tools to make work easier and smarter.
3. Help the provinces go digital – LGUs should invest in free Wi-Fi, online training hubs, and tech-based job opportunities. The countryside should not be left behind.
4. Support youth-led tech businesses – Young people can now start businesses from their homes—whether it’s selling online, freelancing, or doing agri-tech. We need programs that support these new business models.
5. Continue Senator Bam’s vision – He’s not just a lawmaker—he’s a builder of dreams. This time, we must help him bring Go Negosyo into the digital age, and make education more responsive to future jobs.

Mga kabataang entrepreneurs sa probinsya—this is our moment.

Senator Bam Aquino was there when we needed help starting our businesses. Now, let’s help him return to the Senate so he can continue his mission—to prepare us for the future, and make sure no young Filipino is left behind in the digital world.

**Let’s support Senator Bam Aquino. Together, let’s build a future where negosyo and technology empower the youth—**from city streets to barangay roads.

Let’s make this dream a reality.
