Tolentino Expresses Support for Panay Express Way

Iloilo City- Senator Francis ‘Tol’ Tolentino has expressed support for the development of the much awaited Aklan-Capiz-Iloilo Expressway (ICAeX).

This was the gist of Tolentino’s message during the Alyansa ng Bagong Pilipinas rally held in Iloilo Thursday night. Tolentino was among the several senatorial slates of the party supported by President Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr.

“I will help lobby for funds to finance the development of the expressway once it materializes,” Tolentino said who works as a former chairman of the Metro Manila Development Authority *MMDA) said.

It was gathered that the Department of Public Works and Highways is currently conducting the feasibility of the said expressway.

The project spans 210 kilometer highway passing through 20 towns in Panay Island.

Once completed it is expected to boosts tourism and economic activities especially in Boracay Island.
