Job description:24/7 dirty, hard-work
Salary:Hahaha!
Hahaha, with all honesty magri-realtalk po ako and no offense meant po ito, just purely realtalk.
True enough, farming per se’ is not a lucrative business to 99.9% of farmers, basic nmn po ang mga dahilan, karamihan tenant na d magawa ang gusto nla, kung may lupa, wala namang financing at d nmn kaya ng kapasidad ang paper works ng loan(kuno)sa bangko na medyo malaki sana,na ang kalimitang kumikita ay ang mayayamang may lupa lamang at may kapasidad i-develop ang lupa into a LS,agri-tourism o isang farm resort.
Farming has 3 aspects, production, marketing and services,99.9% belongs to the production category, lucky are those chosen few who was sent by DA/AMAD to attend seminars re-marketing,(ty AMAD- Reg.6)that is why i am also sharing my learnings and kept motivating my fellow farmers to show my gratitude,it’s pay-back time.
Back to services, this is the farming aspect where i deemed it necessary for ordinary farmers to pursue (LS/Learning Site)where you sell services by teaching them the best cultural management,(OAP,science-based,etc) and get paid per pax for a certain period of time(29days in OAP).
But of course, easier said than done, para kang naghahanap ng karayum sa buntun ng dayami, pro doable if you belong to the chosen few,to those farmers who gets comfortable for being uncomfortable…
Basic…
Back to salary…
Salary is just a plus factor,at the end of the day, hindi mababayaran ng pera yung pagiging masipag mo,yung learnings mo thru your mistakes dhil sa dami ng eksperimento mo,hahaha, yung kaligayahan mo,sense of fulfillment, yung challenges for going out of your comfort zone and pushing yourself to your limits in quest for new knowledge and how far you can go in farming…
