New Washington, Aklan- The town of New Washington has joined other local government units in the province of Aklan to search for the missing teenager who believed to have been drowed.
Mayor Jessica R. Panambo personally visited the ongoing Search and Rescue (SAR) operations for the missing person, Jhuros Flores, 15 in Polo, Banga, Aklan to show support and coordinate efforts.
“MDRRMO New Washington personnel have been deployed to assist in the operations. Also, five expert divers from Iloilo also joined the search efforts, thanks to the support of Vice Mayor Jesus B. Quimpo and Councilor Vicente B. Quimpo,” Panambo said.
“Our thoughts and prayers remain with the family of Jhuros Flores, and we commend the dedication of all responders involved,” she added.
Panambo also said that she met the family of Flores and extend some assistance.
