Iloilo City- The Department of Social Welfare and Development Field Office VI (DSWD6) is expanding the reach of the Basta Beripikado Mabilis ang Serbisyo (BBM Serbisyo) digital platform, bringing faster and more secure services for its client
-beneficiaries in the province of Iloilo.

The BBM Serbisyo Digital platform, which is set to digitalize the aid delivery in the region, is a web-based platform that utilizes PhilSys authentication application to instantly verify PhilSys-registered clients. This aims to acquire clientsโ€™ PhilSys Card Numbers (PCNs) for electronic verification in order to prevent fraud, detect and correct duplicate entries, and modernize the agencyโ€™s operations.

โ€œThis is a powerful tool for protecting our client beneficiaries, preventing fraud and abuse, and ensuring that assistance reaches those who are truly in need,โ€ DSWD6 PDOIV Mark Louis M. Babiarte said during the Assistance to Individual in Crisis Situations (AICS) Payout on Wednesday at Poblacion Ilawod Gymnasium in Sara, Iloilo.

The BBM digital platform is designed to improve social service delivery for existing beneficiaries.

To access the platform, client beneficiaries should visit the link www.bbmserbisyo@dswd.gov.ph, complete the online form, agree on the terms, take a live selfie, confirm the PhilSys registration, and provide the contact number for the OTP verification code.

Recently, DSWD6 introduced the platform to its client-beneficiaries in Calinog, Pototan, and Badiangan, Iloilo. The agency is set to roll out the platform to all provinces in the region./mjbrendia
