KALIBO, Aklan- Filbake Food Corporation humbly accepted a meaningful recognition at the 2025 Provincial SETUP and CEST Awards held on November 25, 2025, at Aklan State University, where it was honored with the Industry 4.0 Champion of Innovation (ICON) Award by the Department of Science and TechnologyโAklan.
The award, presented by DOST Provincial Director Engr. Dyna Rose Gubatanga and Assistant Provincial Director Dr. Antonette Donato, acknowledges Filbakeโs steady efforts to modernize its operations, adopt practical technologies, and work closely with government partners to uplift local food production.
Receiving the award on behalf of the company was Ms. Malou Mansayon, Assistant Vice President for Production, who shared that the recognition is a reminder of Filbakeโs simple beginnings and its continuing journey toward responsible growth. She emphasized that any progress the company has achieved is deeply rooted in community partnerships, hardworking employees, and the guidance of agencies like DOST.
