Nemetschek Group expands Southeast Asia push for connected digital delivery across the Philippines and Vietnam

New partnerships link live-project adoption, professional development and workforce capability as Nemetschek Group scales its regional strategy

SINGAPORE – Nemetschek APAC Pte. Ltd., part of the Nemetschek Group, a global Construction AI leader and software provider driving the digital transformation of the AEC/O and media industries, is expanding its presence across the Philippines and Vietnam through ten partnerships and engagements spanning industry, professional bodies and education.

The regional push addresses a persistent challenge in construction: project information is still frequently created and managed in disconnected systems across disciplines and stages of the building lifecycle. That fragmentation can lead to duplicated work, inconsistent information and data being lost as projects move from design into construction and operations.

Nemetschek Group is approaching that challenge from both ends – supporting more connected and interoperable workflows on projects today, while working with professional and educational institutions to strengthen the digital capabilities the industry will need over the longer term.

What we are building across Southeast Asia reflects those two sides of the transition. In the Philippines, we are working with industry to connect more of the project lifecycle. In Vietnam, we are engaging the education sector around the capabilities future professionals will need. They are different interventions, but they address the same underlying shift towards a more connected built environment.”

Philippines: Applying connected digital delivery in practice

Nemetschek Group’s partnerships in the Philippines span both live project delivery and wider capability-building within the architectural profession. With Aidea Inc (AIDEA), the collaboration will support their work on a major healthcare project involving St. Luke’s Medical Center, creating an opportunity to bring together digital tools and project information across multiple stages of delivery.

AIDEA currently uses several Nemetschek Group solutions across its workflows, including Archicad for architectural design, ALLPLAN for structural detailing, Solibri for quality checking, dRofus for project programming, Bluebeam for communication and documentation, RISA for engineering workflows and dTwin to support the capture of asset information for facilities management applications.

Nemetschek Group is also broadening its engagement with the Philippines’ architectural community through collaborations with the Philippine Institute of Architects, the United Architects of the Philippines – Makati CBD Chapter, and the University of Mindanao, covering areas such as BIM and openBIM adoption, professional development, knowledge exchange and architectural education.

Vietnam: Expanding digital capability across the built environment talent ecosystem

In Vietnam, Nemetschek Group’s engagement with the education sector focuses on how digital delivery is changing the capabilities expected of future built environment professionals.

As projects become more model-based and data-driven, proficiency in individual software applications is no longer enough. Architects and engineers entering the workforce will need to understand how information is structured, exchanged and validated across disciplines, and how that data can continue to create value from design and construction through to building operations.

Nemetschek Group is engaging with institutions across Vietnam around this wider shift in digital practice, including Vietnamese-German University, Van Lang University, Lac Hong University, Ho Chi Minh City College of Architecture and Construction, Hanoi Architectural University and Hanoi University of Civil Engineering.

This thinking also underpins Nemetschek Group’s three-year collaboration with Hanoi Architectural University (HAU). The partnership will provide educational access to selected Nemetschek Group solutions including Archicad, ALLPLAN, Solibri, Vectorworks and Bluebeam, while also exploring curriculum development, student internships, industry attachments for lecturers, and jointly organised forums, seminars and workshops

Building a connected ecosystem across Southeast Asia

The Philippines and Vietnam engagements build on Nemetschek Group’s growing presence across Southeast Asia, including its recent partnerships with the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) and Singapore Polytechnic (SP) in Singapore around AI, BIM and digital delivery capabilities.

Together, the initiatives reflect a broader shift in moving beyond individual software adoption towards the conditions required for digital delivery at scale.
