APC-Baghay Aklan Forged MOU Partnerships

APC-BAGHAY AKLAN FORGED PARTNERSHIPS

KALIBO, Aklan- The Aklan Press Club and Aklan Baghay (Bagong Buhay Inc.) have recently forged a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for the promotion of voluntary services that help promote community-based advocacy.

Megs Lunn, the APC President, said that the Aklan Baghay, as the official accredited non-governmental organization of the Aklan Provincial Police Office, was recognized as a best practice, including that of the PAGPTD as a partner.

“The Aklan Baghay needs the services of the media entities (represented by the APC) in the promotion of its activities with the goal of fostering a drug-free and crime-free Aklan province,” Lunn said.’

“The APC could provide a counterpart through free coverage, live or recorded, during events and activities spearheaded by the Baghay,” she added.

The MOU is immediately effective until it
