Beyond Registration: PSA Aklan Brings Hope and Heart to Missionaries of Charity

Kalibo, Aklan – February 24, 2026 – In celebration of the 36th Civil Registration Month, the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) Aklan extended its service beyond the office walls through a heartfelt outreach activity at the Missionaries of Charity in Polo, New Washington, Aklan on February 12, 2026.

Guided by this year’s CRM theme, “Navigating the Future Together: Advancing CRVS in Shaping the Global and Regional Data Ecosystem,” PSA Aklan underscored that advancing civil registration and vital statistics (CRVS) is not only about strengthening data systems, but also about recognizing the people behind the numbers.

The outreach symbolized the agency’s commitment to inclusivity and ensuring that even the most vulnerable members of society are remembered, valued, and supported.

Through the collective efforts of its personnel, the office donated groceries, toiletries, and other essential items for the residents under the care of the congregation.
