Call for assistance
I am Ralph Laurence Castro, a Filipino youth delegate, content creator, and communications specialist. I am writing to respectfully request financial assistance to support my participation in two prestigious international youth programs:
- The Youth Vision Assembly 2025, to be held in Amsterdam, Netherlands from September 19–22, 2025.
- The 3rd AUAP Youth Development Programme (YDP), hosted by the Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific, to be held in Bangkok, Thailand from June 23–27, 2025.
Both invitations are official and reflect my ongoing commitment to global youth development and cross-cultural collaboration.
Throughout my professional journey, I have served as Head of Boracay Times Media and a News Correspondent for AirAsia Boracay News, where I developed expertise in layout design, branding, and storytelling. I had the honor of working alongside the late Mr. Johnny Dayang, a luminary in Philippine media and public relations.
My work and advocacies have been recognized both locally and internationally. I was:
- Champion of the POEA Digital Art Competition 2022,
- A National Finalist in the ASEAN Data Science Explorers, and
- A participant in the Tsukuba CHAT Program in Japan.
These achievements highlight my ability to thrive in diverse environments and represent Filipino youth with innovation and integrity.
Participation in the above international assemblies is a rare and valuable opportunity — one that will enhance my ability to contribute meaningfully to discussions on the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and youth empowerment. However, as these programs require travel, accommodation, and registration expenses, I am in need of financial sponsorship or support to make my participation possible.
I would be deeply grateful for any form of support or funding assistance that would allow me to take part in these global youth engagements. Supporting my journey is not only an investment in my personal growth but also in the empowerment of Filipino youth voices on international platforms.
