Casidsid not backing out with mayoralty race

MALAY, Aklan- Malay mayoralty candidate Hector Casidsid is not backing out with his bid to refute circulating reports in their town. In his series of posts on his facebook page,

Casidsid said he is not withdrawing his candidacy for the May 9, 2022 elections.

“Yes I am poor, but my heart is full in helping the people especially since Covid-19 pandemic. I am not backing out because I know the people of Malay are supporting me. They are my inspiration.” he said.

He also denies reports that he is a corrupt politician.

“There is a multimillion proposed project in Puka beach. I have opposed it. I should have been a millionaire by now if I am a corrupt politician,” he said. Casidsid served as a Barangay Kagawad and a four termer village chair of Barangay Yapak.
