This year, the World Wildlife Fund for Nature (WWF) Philippines spearhead the Biggest Hour for Earth in efforts to turn a single Earth Hour into thousands and millions of hours of action and awareness. The Philippines is one of the most vulnerable to the impacts of climate change and has felt its effects on livelihood and lives of Filipinos.
In line with our commitment to being part of the global movement, the Philippines will once again participate in the Earth Hour 2025. With the theme, “Switch Off and Secure Water for All”, we highlight what we can contribute and help address the immense challenges of nature loss and climate change.
On March 22, 2025, Saturday, at 8:30 PM, we call all individuals, communities, and tourism enterprise across the region to switch off their lights and give the Biggest Hour for Earth as our positive contribution to our planet.
The Department of Tourism Region 6 stands united for a sustainable future by participating in the Earth Hour. Let’s turn off the lights, and turn on our commitment to the planet.
