Kalibonhon to Soon Pass her Crown as Mrs Tourism USA

KALIBO, Aklan-A Kalibonhon, who was named last year as the Mrs Tourism-World USA, has announced in her social media posts that she will soon pass the crown to the next queen.

Evelyn Talatala Clough said that the gala grand finale this year will be held at the Crystal View Wedding and Event in Fairfax, Virginia, USA.

“Be inspired on September 13th as we celebrate the remarkable achievements of the Mrs. Tourism candidates and crown the next Mrs. Tourism USA 2024! I am proud to pass on the torch to a deserving woman who will continue to advocate for women’s rights and be a beacon of hope and empowerment for positive change,” she said.

During her reign, she donated to the Mabuhay Foundation as part of her charity work.

The Ms. Mrs. Tourism USA, under the Mrs. America Tourism Travel Foundation, is a non-profit organization (501c3) dedicated to creating awareness of domestic violence against women, children, and men.

The organization is  also committed to helping children with cancer and providing scholarship programs to underprivileged students. The Mrs. Tourism USA has also participated in the UN summit as a human rights advocate.

“As queens, we transcend the crown and stand firmly with the Ms. & Mrs. Tourism USA platform on domestic violence and human rights. We advocate for justice, equality, and dignity for all. Unlike other pageants, we are a movement, a force for change. We empower women to become agents of change, to break barriers, and to make a profound difference. We are the difference! ,” the organizer said.

Mrs Clough was crowned on October 2, 2023, at the grand finale held at the Music Museum in Greenhills, San Juan, Manila.
