Mayor Sucro vows to prioritize peace and order in Kalibo

KALIBO, Aklan- Peace and order were among those to be given emphasis for Kalibo Mayor Juris Bautista-Sucro, a sign of a compassionate leader.

Unknown to many while Kalibonhon were asleep, Mayor Sucro roamed around Kalibo on his first midnight into office to assess this Ati-atihan town situation.

“Sleep well Kalibo,” he said in his facebook post.

Earlier, Sucro personally worked hard to arrest the suspect, a bodyguard in the killing of a pawnshop manager here in Kalibo. He even used his personal money to serve as a reward in the apprehension of the suspect.

“I do not want heinous crimes to happen in Kalibo on my watch,” he told the Boracay Island News Network.

Peace and order is considered important for the investors to come in and boosts economic uplift.
